An extremely rare and very desirable 1968 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust in 18k yellow gold reference 1601 with a crazy rare "Obsidian" dial in perfect condition, no cracks and no hairlines displaying a marvelous charcoal pattern. Black Obsidian - also known as volcanic glass - is formed from molten lava that has cooled very quickly. Directly from a volcano, black obsidian is unique and combines the elements of earth, water and fire.
