An extremely rare and very well preserved early 1964 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer reference 1016 with an excellent glossy black dial with gilt writings and warm patina. This extremely rare example features its original Rolex signed papers with matching numbers and its original box. The watch is in excellent condition showing light signs of age and or scratches. All watches are checked by our watchmaker and guaranteed 3 months, 1 year if serviced. This reference has been serviced and is mechanically guaranteed 1 year.

This mechanical warranty does not cover damages that the buyer might cause. In regards to vintage models, we cannot guarantee waterproofness or time accuracy unless the watch has been serviced and these requests approved by our watchmaker.

All items are carefully packed and shipped via Fedex express couriers such as FedEx Priority. Your shipment is fully insured, please open the parcel in front of your courier to attest any potential damages caused during transportation. If you do not do this, we cannot guarantee the full refund of your order due to transportation damages. Please keep in mind that for shipments outside the EU, Harbor Watches is required to declare the retail value of the order which might be subject to fees and taxes upon arrival in the destination country. Potential taxes and fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Pre-orders are open up to 10 business days. Production starts as soon as the pre-order window is finally closed. When the watch is ready for shipping, the customer will receive an email notification with the informations. Withdrawal rights are not applicable to limited editions. This exception is due to the fact that limited editions are only sold for a specific period of time and cannot be sold again after a return/refund. Pre-orders limited by time cannot be refunded before/after the pre-order selling period.
